    Red line to Dupont Circle. Exit north to Q Street. The S Series (S1, S2, S3, S4, S5) runs north and south along 16th Street. Bus #G2 originates in Georgetown and travels across P Street (1 block south of Q Street).
  • PARKING
    If you are planning to drive, remember to leave plenty of time for parking. There is limited on-street parking available. A public parking garage is located at P Street NW between 16th and 17th.
  • WASHINGTON DCJCC PARKING LOT
    Limited spaces available. Enter on Q Street just after the building. Parking fees: $8 for up to three hours, $12 for over three hours and $5 flat rate for members and seniors with validated tickets. Free daytime parking weekdays until 5:00 pm, Saturday until 6:30 pm and Sunday until 2:30 pm. Parking fees apply all other hours regardless of entry time.

    The congregation is conveniently located 2 blocks north of the Cleveland Park Metro Station, which is on the Red Line. Exit on the east side of Connecticut Avenue. The Cleveland park Metro station is served by bus routes D32, H2, H3, H4, L1, L2, and W47.

    On-site parking is available in the Adas Israel lot. 

 

AFI SILVER THEATRE CULTURAL CENTER

    The AFI Silver Theatre is located on Colesville Road, just two blocks north of Metro’s Red Line station in Silver Spring. The Silver Spring station is served by Ride-On routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 22, 28. The Silver Spring station is served by Metrobus routes 70, 71, J5, F4, F6, JH1, J2, J3, J4, Q2, S2, S4, Y8, Z5.
  • PARKING
    The Wayne Avenue parking garage provides convenient and easy access to downtown Silver Spring. This garage entrance is located on Wayne Avenue between Georgia Avenue and Fenton Street; walk out across Ellsworth Plaza and AFI Silver is just around the corner. The Wayne Avenue garage offers free parking on weekends and after 8:00 p.m. on weekdays.

    Red Line to Friendship Heights METRO. Transfer to the E2, E3, E4 or E6 bus, which will leave you a half-block from the theater at the corner of McKinley and Connecticut Avenue. The L1, L2 and L4 bus lines provide transportation from points south of Chevy Chase Circle on Connecticut Avenue to the Avalon.
  • PARKING
    The theater is located between McKinley and Northampton Streets, just over a quarter mile south of Chevy Chase Circle. Surrounding streets have metered and unrestricted parking.

    Take the red line to Tenleytown/AU. Take the east exit and walk to the bus stops at the corner of Albemarle and 40th Streets. All shuttle bus routes lead directly to the Katzen, and run every 10–15 minutes. Buses are clearly marked with AU logos.The Katzen Arts Center is also accessible via metro bus routes N3, N4, N6, N8. Busses M4 and N2 pass the Katzen on Nebraska Ave. at Ward Circle.

    There is a parking garage beneath the Katzen Arts Center. Parking at AU is free after 5:00 and on weekends

AMERICAN UNIVERSITY’S MALSI DOYLE AND MICHAEL FORMAN THEATER 

4400 Massachusetts Avenue NW Washington, DC

    The Redline to TenleyTown/AU Metro station. Metrobus routes N2, N3, N4, and N6 make stops less than ¼ mile away from the main entrance of the university.  AU provides a free shuttle from the TenleyTown/AU Metro station.. Exit the Metro station, take the escalator and exit to the east, which is on your left (look for the sign directing you to the AU Shuttle stop). Once at street level, the shuttle stop is just a few yards ahead at the intersection of 40th Street and Albemarle Street. The shuttle runs on a continuous loop and departs every ten minutes. You need no special pass to ride. The shuttle will then be about a 5 minute ride to campus and you will want to exit at the Kogod School of Business stop. Continue down the main road into campus. You will pass by the Bender Sports Arena on your right and the Mckinley building (where The Malsi Doyle and Michael Forman Theater is located inside) will be further up on your left. If you choose to walk from the Metro, the main campus is approximately one mile. Heading south on Wisconsin Avenue, turn right on Nebraska Avenue (at the Tenley Campus) and take that until you reach Ward Circle. Turn right at Massachusetts Avenue and enter through Glover Gate (Glover Gate is the main entrance of American University, located at 4400 Massachusetts Ave. NW DC). Once parked, enter the university campus through Glover Gate and continue down the main road. You will see a tunnel. Continue through the tunnel. You will pass by the Bender Sports Arena on your right and the Mckinley building (where The Malsi Doyle and Michael Forman Theater is located inside) will be further up on your left.
  • PARKING
    American University’s Good Neighbor Parking Policy remains in effect for all faculty, staff, students, contractors and visitors. Parking is prohibited on all neighborhood streets, including at parking meters, while attending class, working or visiting any university property. Parking on Campus is extremely limited. It is recommended that you use metro rail and take AU’s free shuttle. Hourly and Daily Pay-as-You-go parking is available in the Katzen Arts Center Garage located across from Glover Gate (Glover Gate is the main entrance of American University, located at 4400 Massachusetts Ave. NW DC). Once parked, enter the university campus through Glover Gate and continue down the main road. You will see a tunnel. Continue through the tunnel. You will pass by the Bender Sports Arena on your right and the Mckinley building (where The Malsi Doyle and Michael Forman Theater is located inside) will be further up on your left.     Gallery Pl-Chinatown Gallery Pl-Chinatown station on the Red/Green/Yellow lines: Use the Arena/7th Street NW exit. Sidney Harman Hall is visible one block to your left.

Judiciary Square station on the Red line: use the F Street NW exit to the National Building Museum, turn left and walk 1 ½ blocks along F Street NW to 6th Street NW.

  • PARKING
    Street parking is difficult to find near the Sidney Harman Hall. Parking enforcement is very strict and cars are towed regularly.

 

PARKING LOTS:

PMI Parking Closes at midnight. The PMI Parking garage is at the corner of 9th and D streets NW; enter the garage from D Street NW. A special theatre parking rate of $7.00 is available after 5:00 p.m. Monday to Friday and after 12:0.0. pm on Saturday and Sunday. Present your ticket to the attendant when you leave the garage to receive the $7.00 rate.

Colonial Parking Closes at midnight. The Colonial Parking garage in the Lansburgh building offers elevator access to 7th Street NW; enter on 8th Street NW. Inform the parking attendant that you are attending a Shakespeare Theatre Company performance to receive the theatre rate of $16.00.

LAZ Parking Closes 30 minutes after the show ends. Regular event rate varies. Rates and hours of operation subject to change. The LAZ garage is located directly beneath Sidney Harman Hall; enter from E or F Streets NW between 6th and 7th Streets NW.
