Félix, an eccentric and penniless francophone whose wealthy father is dying, meets Meira, a Hasidic Jewish woman who is married with a child, and in search of something new.
Steadily, they fall for each other in this impossible love story between two separate beings from two distinct communities. Despite vast cultural and religious differences, they attempt to draw each other out, and find a meaningful connection.
