Amidst the industrial unrest of a Welsh coal mining town, Solomon, an Orthodox Jew and door-to-door salesman falls in love with the beautiful Gaenor, but hides his religion from her since she comes from a family of strict Christian chapel-goers. The two soon become lovers but their affair has serious consequences for both of them. | |
