Winner of 11 Israeli Academy Awards (including Best Picture, Direct or and Screenplay) Nina's Tragedies follows 14-year-old Nadiv as he records in his journal an emotionally turbulent six-months during which he is sent to live with his sexy aunt Nina following the untimely death of her husband. Nadiv is subsequently reunited with his estranged Ultra-orthodox father, abandoned by his best friend, and unexpectedly stumbles into adulthood. Profound, whimsical, sexy and surprising, Nina's Tragedies is about unconditional acceptance and the power of love to heal.
