Children in a Jewish-Christian Family
Wednesday, December 8
7:30 pm at Washington DCJCC
USA, 2004, BetaSP 55 minutes English Director: Jennifer Kaplan Part of the success story of Jewish life in America is the reality that intermarriage has become both a source of great anxiety for the organized Jewish community and very real personal struggle for those engaged in these relationships when the time comes to make decisions regarding the raising of children. Mixed Blessings focuses on four interfaith couples who are at varying levels of agreement on how to raise their children. The film presents, in a non-judgmental, open manner, the plethora of issues surrounding this emotional and spiritual choice.
