Israel, 2000, 16mm, 13 minutes
On a hot summer day, an Israeli chicken breeder, Marziano, and his Romanian worker are driving their chickens to the market. The Palestinian checkpoint is declared closed just as they arrive at the gate. Temperatures and tempers soar as Marziano argues to have the checkpoint reopened. He soon discovers that the officer in charge is Nabil, a former worker in his chicken coop. Co-sponsored by the Embassy of Israel
