Why are those Festival volunteers always
shoving slips of paper into my hand????

Those very important slips of paper are WJFF Audience Award ballots. Please turn in your ballot after each film, and select the winners of our WJFF Audience Awards. Make your voice heard, and help us honor our participating filmmakers with recognition for their films!

The WJFF Audience Awards are presented to the Best Feature and Best Documentary films screened during the Festival, as selected by our audiences. These Awards give audience members the opportunity to voice their opinions about the films presented. More importantly, the Awards give filmmakers the recognition they deserve and the feedback they desire. Festival Awards play a very important role in a filmmaker's total portfolio when their film is submitted for festival competitions, distribution, and marketing. This year's Audience Awards will be announced at the Closing Night Reception.

Volunteers will distribute ballots before most films, and we ask that you please remember to vote and return your ballot immediately after the screening.
